01/20/20: Acoustician "Comfortably Numb" (Pink Floyd)
Some covers are not only nice to listen to, but can also help you to learn musical passages. Such is the case with this entry—an acoustic version of David Gilmour’s iconic guitar solo in the song “Comfortably Numb.”
Simply calling himself Acoustician, this gentleman has over a dozen guitar solo videos of well known songs on his YouTube channel, along with a few training videos. Check it out here.
01/13/20: Avery Molek - Neil Peart (Rush) Drum Covers
The original clip of this young man performing Rush’s “Tom Sawyer” at age 6 has made the rounds recently following Neil Peart’s passing.
Six years later, Avery Molek is still shedding his hero’s classics.
Enjoy this video of his progress throughout the years, and join us in celebrating the proper education of today’s youth.
01/06/20: Phil "Land of Confusion" (Genesis)
Part of our motivation for doing this is to help promote great talent. We stumbled upon this video, and couldn’t find any info on the artist, but we decided to choose it anyway.
Simply called “Phil,” this is a Genesis/Phil Collins tribute act from Germany. Listen to this guy’s voice, and marvel at the size of that crowd! Just goes to show that even a cover band can entertain the masses.
12/30/19: Nalani & Josh "Just the Two of Us" (Bill Withers/Grover Washington Jr.)
Nalani & Josh are doing things right by embracing technology and reaching a worldwide audience. Their live streams reach thousands of people all over the world.

Gabriella Quevedo is a Swedish guitarist who specializes in fingerpicking style.
Her YouTube channel boasts dozens of covers and over a million subscribers.
We were especially taken with her sweet version of Queen’s ‘The Show Must Go On.”

11/18/19: Brass Against "Aenema" (Tool)
Brass Against is the brainchild of Brad Hammonds — a musician who curates players and leads a group that specializes in politically charged covers of hard rock and hip-hop favorites.
With a full horn section driving the music, Brass Against has several professionally made videos to their credit, and also tour extensively.

11/11/19: Mackenzie Johnson "Vienna" (Billy Joel)
We stumbled upon this gem simply by searching “Billy Joel Cover” on You Tube, and this clip showed up near the top.
One of the favorites among Joel’s fans, “Vienna” in performed in lovely fashion here by singer and admitted hat lover Mackenzie Johnson.

Lola Astanova is a classically trained pianist who performs the most exclusive concerts in the world.
She has collaborated with the best orchestras, as well as mainstream and crossover artists.
Her YouTube channel boasts dozens of videos that have gained millions of views.

10/21/19: Jessie's Girl "Time After Time" (Cyndi Lauper)
Billed as “The World’s Best 80’s Band,” Jessie’s Girl sells out some of the biggest venues in the New York area…playing covers.
Not only does the band provide a high-energy show with a bright look and crowd-pleasing song selections, they’re also no slouches as musicians.

10/14/19: The Pork Tornadoes "In the Air Tonight" (Phil Collins)
Hailing from Iowa, The Pork Tornadoes have gained quite a reputation as a band to watch.
With over 19k followers on Facebook and a full calendar of performance dates scheduled, these fellas are clearly doing something right.
